জম্মু-কাশ্মীরের আবহাওয়ার অবস্থা বেশ খারাপ। বেশ কয়েকটি জায়গায় বৃষ্টি চলছে। বেশ কয়েক জায়গায় ভূমিধসও হচ্ছে। পর্যটকদের নিরাপত্তার কথা ভেবে আপাতত স্থগিত রাখা হল অমরনাথ যাত্রা (Amarnath Yatra)। খারাপ আবহাওয়ার কারণে জম্মু-কাশ্মীরে সাময়িকভাবে স্থগিত রাখা হল অমরনাথ যাত্রা।
কাশ্মীর উপত্যকায় আগামিকাল, ৮ জুলাই থেকে আগামী তিন দিনের বৃষ্টির সতর্কতা রয়েছে। উপত্যকায় তুমুল বৃষ্টি শুরু হয়েছে।
