পিকনিক (picnic) করতে গিয়ে সমুদ্রের জলে (seawater) স্নান করতে নেমেছিলেন। আর তাই যেন কাল হল। জলে ডুবে মৃত্যু হল একই পরিবারের ৬ সদস্যের। আরও দুজন অসুস্থ অবস্থায় বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি রয়েছে।

শুক্রবার মর্মান্তিক এই দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে গুজরাটের (Gujarat) ভারুচ (Bharuch) এলাকার দাহেজ সমুদ্র সৈকতে (Dahej beach)। মৃতরা সবাই মুল্লার গ্রামের বাসিন্দা বলে জানিয়েছেন ভারুচের পুলিশ সুপার ডাঃ লীনা পাটিল।
