বৃহন্মুম্বই পুরসভার উদ্যোগে এবার সবুজায়েনের পরিকল্পনা বাস্তবায়ন করা হচ্ছে। বৃহন্মুম্বই পুরসভার (BMC) সঙ্গে হাত মিলিয়ে এই পরিকল্পনা বাস্তবায়নের দিকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে বলিউড অভিনেতা অক্ষয় কুমার (Akshay Kumar) । যেখানে অক্ষয়কে দেখা যায়, সাধারণ মানুষের সঙ্গে রাস্তায় নেমে ব্যান্দ্রায় রাস্তার পাশে গাছ লাগানো শুরু করেছেন। ব্যন্দ্রায় রাস্তা জুড়ে ২০০টি চারা গাছ বসানোর যে পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছে, তা ফলপ্রসূ করতে রাস্তায় নামেন বলিউড অভিনেতা।
