New Law on Hit and Run Cases: সদ্য সংসদে নতুন ভারতীয় ন্যায় সংহিতা আইন পাশ হয়েছে। যেখানে বেপরোয়া গাড়ির ধাক্কায় মৃত্যু ঘটানো এবং তারপরে চালককের পালিয়া যাওয়া (হিট অ্যান্ড রান) নিয়ে কড়া শাস্তির উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের এই নয়া আইনের প্রতিবাদে বিক্ষোভ শুরু করেছে নাগপুরের পরিবহন সমিতি ও ট্রাক চালকেরা। যার জেরে মঙ্গলবার সকাল থেকে মহারাষ্ট্রের (Maharashtra) নাগপুরের (Nagpur) পেট্রোল পাম্পে এসে দুর্ভোগের মুখে পড়তে হচ্ছে বাইক চালকদের। বিক্ষোভের ফলে পেট্রোল পাম্পে পড়েছে লম্বা লাইন। নতুন ভারতীয় ন্যায় সংহিতা বলা হয়েছে, দুর্ঘটনা ঘটিয়ে পুলিশকে না জানালে চালকের ১০ বছরের জেল এবং ৭ লক্ষ টাকা পর্যন্ত জরিমানা হতে পারে।
