কোভিড রুখতে ১২ ঊর্দ্ধ ছেলেমেয়েদের জরুরি ভিত্তিতে জাইকভডি টিকা প্রয়োগের ছাড়পত্র দিল ড্রাগ কন্ট্রোলটার জেনারেল অফ ইন্ডিয়া (DCGI)। এই টিকা দুটি ডোজের হবে। একই সঙ্গে ৫-১২ বয়সী ছেলেমেয়েদের জন্য ছাড়পত্র পেল করবিভ্যাক্স টিকা।তবে এদিন সকালেই ৬-১২ বছর বয়সীদের উপরে ভারত বায়োটেকের কোভ্যাক্সিনের জরুরি ভিত্তিতে ব্যবহার সীমিত করেছে ডিসিজিআই।
