অমৃতপাল সিংহের ঘটনার জেরে অসমের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মাকে হুমকি দিয়ে একটি অডিও ক্লিপ (audio clip) প্রকাশ করেছিল খালিস্তানি জঙ্গি হিসেবে পরিচিত গুরপাতয়ন্ত সিং পাননুন।
অমৃতপাল সিংহের ঘটনার জেরে অসমের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মাকে (Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma) হুমকি (threat) দিয়ে একটি অডিও ক্লিপ (audio clip) প্রকাশ করেছিল খালিস্তানি জঙ্গি হিসেবে পরিচিত গুরপাতয়ন্ত সিং পাননুন (Gurpatwant Singh Pannun)। তার জেরে অডিও ক্লিপটি বাজেয়াপ্ত করে এই বিষয়ে একটি মামলা (case) দায়ের করল অসম পুলিশ।

রবিবার অসম পুলিশের ডিজিপি জিপি সিং জানান, আমরা আজকে একটি অডিও ক্লিপ পেয়েছি। তাতে গুরপাতয়ন্ত সিং পাননুন নামে এক ব্যক্তি মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মাকে হুমকি দিচ্ছেন। তার অভিযোগ অসমে শিখ সম্প্রদায়ের (Sikh community) মানুষের হেনস্থা করা হচ্ছে। তাঁদের ঠিক মতো পরিষেবা দেওয়া হচ্ছে না। অডিও ক্লিপটি পরীক্ষা করে দেখা হচ্ছে। মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর নিরাপত্তা বাড়ানোর পাশাপাশি এই বিষয়ে একটি মামলা করে তদন্ত শুরু করা হয়েছে।
