Basirhat Chimney Collapsed: বসিরহাটে ইটভাটার চিমনি ভেঙে ভয়াবহ বিস্ফোরণ, মৃত বেড়ে ৪, আহত ৩৫
বসিরহাটে ইট ভাটায় চিমনিতে ভয়াবহ বিস্ফোরণ (Basirhat Chimney Collapsed)। চিমনি ভেঙে পড়ে মৃতের সংখ্যা ৩ থেকে বেড়ে ৪। ঘটনায় আহত হয়েছেন ৩৫ জন। গুরুতর জখম অবস্থায় হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা চলছে ২৫ জনের। বুধবার সন্ধ্যায় উত্তর ২৪ পরগণার বসিরহাট (Basirhat) থানার ইটিন্ডাঘাটার ধলতিতা গ্রামের ঘটনা। স্থানীয় সূত্রে খবর, ইটভাটার চিমনিতে আগুন লেগে আচমকা সেটি ভেঙে পড়ে। ধ্বংসস্তূপে চাপা পড়ে ঘটনাস্থলেই মৃত্যু হয় ২ জনের। খবর পাওয়া মাত্রই ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছয় পুলিশ। স্থানীয়দের অভিযোগ, ওই এলাকায় অবৈধভাবে বেশ কয়েকটি ইটভাটা চলছে। যেখানে শ্রমিকদের জন্যে নূন্যতম নিরাপত্তার ব্যবস্থা করা হয় না।
