কোভিডের মত এক মারণ ভাইরাসের দমনে পুরোপুরি না হলেও কিছুটা কার্যকর করোনার টিকা। এই টিকা মৃত্যু ভয় কিছুটা হলেও কমাবে এই আশায় বুক বেঁধেছিল চিকিৎসক মহল। তবে সম্প্রতি বিপরীত এক তথ্য উঠে এল ওয়াশিংটন পোস্টের গবেষণায় (Vaccinated People Death in US Survey)। নয়া গবেষণা চাঞ্চল্য সৃষ্টি করেছে। তথ্যে বলা হয়েছে, করোনার টিকা না নেওয়া রোগীদের তুলনায় করোনার টিকা নেওয়া রোগীদের মৃত্যু সংখ্যা বেশি। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে (US) গত আগস্টে যে সকল ব্যক্তি করোনা আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গিয়েছেন তাঁদের ৫৮ শতাংশেরই কোভিড টিকা বা বুস্টার ডোজ নেওয়া ছিল।
