শুক্রবার সকালে ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পে (Earthquake) কেঁপে উঠল ব্যাঙ্কক ( Bangkok)। থাইল্যান্ডের (Thailand) রাজধানী ব্যাঙ্কক শুক্র সকালে ৭.৭ মাত্রার প্রবল ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে ওঠে। যার জেরে থরথর করে বাড়িঘর যেমন কাঁপতে শুরু করে, তেমনি একটি বহুতল থেকে জল নীচে ঝরনার মত করে গড়িয়ে পড়তে দেখা যায়। জানা যায়, ওই বহুতলের একটি তলায় সুইমিং পুল ছিল। ভূমিকম্পের ঝটকায় সুইমিং পুল থেকে জল উপর দিকে উঠে ঝরনার মত করে গড়িয়ে পড়তে শুরু করে। ব্যাঙ্ককের যে ভিডিয়ো প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই তা হু হু করে ভাইরাল হয়ে যায়। সেই সঙ্গে ওই বহুতল থেকে জরুরি ভিত্তিতে প্রত্যেককে সরিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। কোনওরকম অঘটন ঘটার আগেই বহুতল ফাঁকা করার চেষ্টা করা হয় প্রশাসনের তরফে।
