কুয়েতের নতুন এমির ঘোষণা করা হল। কুয়েত ক্যাবিনেটের পক্ষ থেকে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে ক্রাউন প্রিন্স সেইখ মিশাল আল আহমেদ আল জাবের আল শাবাহর নাম।
বর্তমান এমির শেইখ নওয়াফ আল আহমেদ আল জাবের আল সাবারের মৃত্যুর পর স্থলভাষিক্ত হলেন তিনি।
