ফের বিদেশের মাটিতে খুন হলেন ভারতীয়। গত শুক্রবার আমেরিকায় খুন ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভূত চিকিৎসক রমেশবাবু পরমশেট্টি। জানা যাচ্ছে, এদিন সকালের দিকে তুসকালিউসা এলাকায় একদল দুষ্কৃতি তাঁর ওপর চড়াও হয় এবং তাঁকে গুলি করে খুন করে পালিয়ে যায়। রমেশবাবু মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে যথেষ্ট প্রভাবশালী একজন চিকিৎসক ছিলেন। অন্ধ্র প্রদেশের বাসিন্দা পরমশেট্টি দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই আমেরিকায় বসবাস করছিলেন। তিনি ক্রিমসন নেটওয়ার্কের কো-ফাউন্ডারও ছিলেন। শনিবারেই ডাঃ রমেশের মৃত্যুর খবর নিশ্চিত করেছে তাঁর পরিবার। তবে কে বা কারা তাঁকে খুন করেছে তা এখনও জানা যায়নি। গোটা ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে স্থানীয় পুলিশ।
