Court Orders Sperm Donor To Stop Donating: বিশ্বজুড়ে তাঁর শুক্রাণুতে জন্ম নিয়েছে প্রায় ৬০০ শিশু, এবার তাঁকেই শুক্রাণুদানে নিষেধাজ্ঞা আদালতের
নেদারল্যান্ডসের একটি আদালত শুক্রবার এক ব্যক্তিকে তার শুক্রাণু দান করতে নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করেছে। জানা গেছে ওই ব্যক্তি ২০০৭ সাল থেকে এখনও অবধি প্রায় ৫৫০ টিরও বেশি সন্তানের জন্ম দিয়েছেন তাঁর শুক্রাণুর সাহায্যে।
নেদারল্যান্ডসের একটি আদালত শুক্রবার এক ব্যক্তিকে তার শুক্রাণু দান করতে নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করেছে। জানা গেছে ওই ব্যক্তি ২০০৭ সাল থেকে এখনও অবধি প্রায় ৫৫০ টিরও বেশি সন্তানের জন্ম দিয়েছেন তাঁর শুক্রাণুর সাহায্যে। ৪১ বছর বয়সী জোনাথন জ্যাকব মেইজার নামের ওই ব্যক্তি আবার শুক্রাণু দান করার চেষ্টা করলে তাকে ১,০০,০০০ ইউরোর (৯০,৪১,৬৫৭ টাকা) বেশি জরিমানা করা হতে পারে বলেও আদালত জানিয়েছে বলে বিবিসি সূত্রে জানা গেছে।
উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে, মিঃ মেইজার তার শুক্রাণু কমপক্ষে ১৩টি ক্লিনিকে দান করেছিলেন, যার মধ্যে ১১টি নেদারল্যান্ডে অবস্থিত। ডাচ ক্লিনিকাল নির্দেশিকা অনুসারে, শুক্রাণু দাতাদের ১২ জনের বেশি মহিলাকে দান করা উচিত নয় বা ২৫ জনের বেশি সন্তানের পিতা হওয়া উচিত নয়।
