ভারতের (India) উপর ২৫% শুল্ক (Tariff) চাপিয়ে দিল আমেরিকা (US)। বন্ধু হিসেবে সম্মোধন করে ভারতের উপর ২৫% শুল্ক ওয়াশিংটনের তরফে ঘোষণা করা হল। ১ অগাস্ট থেকে ভারতের উপর চাপানো এই ২৫% শুল্ক কার্যকর হবে বলে মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্টের (Donald Trump) অফিসের তরফে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। ভারত এবং আমেরিকা একে অপরের বন্ধু হওয়া সত্ত্বেও এই দুই দেশ একসঙ্গে খুব কম ব্যবসা করেছে বলে ঘোষণাও করতে দেখা যায় ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পকে। অর্থাৎ বন্ধু ভারতের উপর ২৫% শুল্ক চাপানোর পর আমেরিকার সঙ্গে দিল্লির সম্পর্ক ঠিক কীভাবে, কতটা এগোয়, সেদিকেই তাকিয়ে প্রত্যেকে।
