ঘটনার সঙ্গে জড়িত থাকার অভিযোগে ২ জনকে গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ
চিতাবাঘের চামড়া পাচারের অভিযোগে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের আলিপুরদুয়ারের জলদাপাড়া এলাকা থেকে গ্রেফতার ২। বনদফতরের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, "আমরা এখনই গ্রেফতার হওয়া ২ ব্যক্তির নাম জানাতে চাইছি না, কেননা এর সঙ্গে আরও অনেকে জড়িত রয়েছে। "
ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে বন দফতরের আধিকারিকরা।
