Sonagachi Sex Workers Protest: আরজি কর কাণ্ডে বিচারের দাবিতে সরব সোনাগাছির যৌনকর্মীরা
প্রতিবাদে এবছরের দুর্গাপুজোয় মাটি না দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন সোনাগাছির রেড লাইট এলাকার যৌনকর্মীরা।
কলকাতা: আরজি কর-কাণ্ডের প্রতিবাদে সরব গোটা দেশ। বিচারের দাবিতে পথে নেমেছেন ধর্ম-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে ও দেশের গণ্ডি ছাড়িয়ে অসংখ্য মানুষ । এবার বিচার চেয়ে প্রতিবাদ জানালেন সোনাগাছির রেড লাইট এলাকার (Sonagachi Red-Light Area) যৌনকর্মীরা।
মহিলা কাউন্সিলর (Woman Counselor) বলেন, ‘যদি আপনার নারীর প্রতি লালসা থাকে তবে এখানে আসুন। দয়া করে নারীদের জীবন নষ্ট করবেন না। দয়া করে ধর্ষণ করে কোনও নারীর জীবন নষ্ট করবেন না। দয়া করে নারীদের সম্মান করুন, ধর্ষণ করবেন না। একজন মহিলা মুখ্যমন্ত্রী থাকা সত্ত্বেও এখনও ধর্ষকদের বিচার হয়নি কেন সে নিয়েও প্রশ্ন তোলেন তাঁরা। পাশাপাশি তাঁরা ধর্ষকদের কঠোর শাস্তির দাবি জানান, এবং নারী নির্যাতনের প্রতিবাদে এবছরের দুর্গাপুজোয় মাটি না দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন সোনাগাছির রেড লাইট এলাকার যৌনকর্মীরা।
