সোমবার সকালে সন্দেশখালির (Sandeshkhali) বেড়মজুর থেকে গ্রেফতার করা হয় তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস নেতা অজিত মাইতিকে (Ajit Maity)। যার রেশ কাটতে না কাটতেই এবার পোলপাড়ায় শঙ্কর সর্দারের বাড়িতে বিক্ষোভ দেখাতে শুরু করেন বেশ কিছু স্থানীয় মহিলা। তৃণমূল নেতা শঙ্কর সর্দারের স্ত্রী অভিযোগ করেন, গ্রামের বেশ কিছু মহিলা হাজির হয়ে তাঁদের বাড়িতে ভাঙচুর চালান। গ্রামে পুলিশের হাজিরাতেই শঙ্কর সর্দারের বাড়িতে স্থানীয় মহিলারা ভাঙচুর চালান বলে জানা যায়।
