এবার মুখ খুললেন পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের (Partha Chatterjee) আইনজীবী। পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের আইনজীবী বলেন, প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রীর বাড়ি তল্লাশি করে কোনও কিছু মেলেনি। যে মানুষ অপরাধের সঙ্গে যুক্ত নন, তাঁর কাছ থেকে কী ধরনের সহযোগিতা কেউ আশা করবেন বলেও প্রশ্ন তোলেন পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের আইনজীবী। এসবের পাশাপাশি পার্থর আইনজীবী আরও বলেন, ইডি বা সিবিআই কেউ বলতে পারেনি যে প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রী কারও কাছ থেকে কোনও ঘুঁষ নিয়েছেন। পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায় কোনও ধরনের অপরাধের সঙ্গে যুক্ত নন বলেও দাবি করেন প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রীর আইনজীবী।
