বালিগঞ্জ বিধানসভার উপনির্বাচন (Ballygunge Assembly by-polls) উপলক্ষে এদিন তৃনমূল প্রার্থী হিসেবে মনোনয়ন জমা দিচ্ছেন বিজেপি ত্যাগী বাবুল সুপ্রিয় (Babul Supriyo)। তিনি সংবাদ সংস্থা ANI- কে বলেন, “আমি আজ মনোনয়ন জমা করছি। এটা আমার জন্য রাজনীতিতে নতুন যাত্রা। একসঙ্গে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের আশীর্বাদ এবং দলীয় কর্মীদের সমর্থন পেয়েছি আমার রাজনীতির দ্বিতীয় ইনিংকে প্রথমের তুলনায় আরও ভাল করার চেষ্টা করব।”
