Damayanti Sen: দেগঙ্গা সহ রাজ্যের চার ধর্ষণকাণ্ডের তদন্তে IPS দয়মন্তী সেনকে দায়িত্ব দিল আদালত
রাজ্যে চারটি ধর্ষণ মামলায় যৌথ তদন্তের নির্দেশ দিল কলকাতা হাইকোর্ট। দেগঙ্গা, মাতিয়া, ইংরেজবাজার ও বাঁশদ্রোণী-তে ধর্ষণে আইপিএস দময়ন্তী সেন(Damayanti Sen)-এর নজরদারীতে তদন্তের নির্দেশ দেওয়া হল।
রাজ্যে চারটি ধর্ষণ মামলায় যৌথ তদন্তের নির্দেশ দিল কলকাতা হাইকোর্ট। দেগঙ্গা, মাতিয়া, ইংরেজবাজার ও বাঁশদ্রোণী-তে ধর্ষণে আইপিএস দময়ন্তী সেন (Damayanti Sen)-এর নজরদারীতে তদন্তের নির্দেশ দেওয়া হল। রাজ্যের এই চার ধর্ষণ কাণ্ড নিয়ে হাইকোর্টে জনস্বার্থ মামলা দায়ের হয়েছিল।
মামলাকারীদের তরফে দময়ন্তী সেনকে চেয়ে প্রস্তাব দেওয়া হয়। রাজ্য চেয়েছিল আইপিএস সুমনবালা সাহুর নাম প্রস্তাব করা হয়। কিন্তু অবশেষে আদালত দময়ন্তী সেন'কেই তদন্তের দায়িত্ব দিল।
