বার্মিংহ্যাম কমনওয়েলথ গেমসের (CWG 2022) দ্বিতীয় দিনে শনিবার পুরষদের ভারত্তোলনের (Weightlifting) ৫৫ কেজি বিভাগে রুপো জিতলেন সঙ্কেত মহাদেব সাগর (Sanket Mahadev Sargar)। চোট না পেলে সোনার পদকও জিততে পারতেন মহারাষ্ট্রের ২১ বছরের ৫ ফুট ৪ ইঞ্চি উচ্চতার প্রতিশ্রুতিমান এই ভারত্তোলক। ছেলের রুপো জয়ের খবরে দারুন খুশি সঙ্কেতের পরিবার। সঙ্কেতের বাবা ও বোন বলেন, "আমরা খুব খুশি। কনুইতে চোট থাকা সত্ত্বেও সে দেশের জন্য রুপোর পদক জিতেছে।"
