৬০ কেজি বিভাগের ব্রোঞ্জ মেডেলের লড়াইয়ে ব্রাজিলের এলিলটন দি অলিভিয়েরাকে ১০-০ স্কোরে হারিয়ে দেন পারমার।যার ফলে এই প্রথম বার প্যারালিম্পিক্সে জুডোয় পদক পেল ভারত।
২০১৯ সালে কমনওয়েলথ গেমসে জিতেছিলেন সোনা , ২০২২ সালের এশিয়ান গেমসে পেয়েছিলেন রুপো। ২০২৩ সালে বিশ্বকাপে পেয়েছিলেন ব্রোঞ্জ। এ বার প্যারালিম্পিক্সের মঞ্চে দেশকে ব্রোঞ্জ এনে দিলেন কপিল পারমার।৬০ কেজি বিভাগের ব্রোঞ্জ মেডেলের লড়াইয়ে ব্রাজিলের এলিলটন দি অলিভিয়েরাকে ১০-০ স্কোরে হারিয়ে দেন পারমার।যার ফলে এই প্রথম বার । কপিলের হাতে ব্রোঞ্জ পদক আসতেই ভারত বৃহস্পতিবার ছুঁয়ে ফেলল ২৫টি পদক।
