ভারতীয় রেস ওয়াকার বিকাশ সিং ও পরমজিৎ সিং বিস্ত জাপানের নোমিতে এশিয়ান ২০ কিমি চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের সময় ২০২৪ প্যারিস অলিম্পিক এবং ২০২৩ বিশ্ব চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের জন্য যোগ্যতা অর্জন করেছে। কোভিড-১৯ মহামারীর তিন বছর বিরতির পর এশিয়ার দেশগুলোর প্রতিনিধিত্বকারী ক্রীড়াবিদদের জন্য ১৫তম বার্ষিক রেস ওয়াকিং প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এশিয়ান অ্যাথলেটিক্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন এই ইভেন্টের আয়োজন করেছে। ২০২৩ এশিয়ান ২০ কিলোমিটার রেস ওয়াকিং চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে ভারতের মোট ৯ জন অ্যাথলিট অংশ নেন। তার মধ্যে ৫ জন পুরুষ ও ৪ জন মহিলা।
