ইউরোপের বার্মিংহামে কমনওয়েলথ গেমস ভিলেজে ভারতের জাতীয় পতাকার উত্তোলন (flag-hoisting ceremony)। এই জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন অনুষ্ঠানে দেশের মহিলা ও পুরুষ হকি টিমের সদস্যরা ছাড়াও বহু ক্রীড়াবিদ অংশ নেন। কমনওয়েলথ গেমসের  উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের আগেই ভারতের জাতীয় পতাকার উত্তোলন অনুষ্ঠান হয়।
