কমনওেলথ গেমস (CWG 2022) অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলেছে ইংল্যান্ডের মাটিতে। এই উপলক্ষে ভারতীয় ক্রীড়াবিদরা বার্মিংহামে পৌঁছাতেই অনুরাগীদের তরফ থেকে এল ঊষ্ণ অভ্যর্থনা। বার্মিংহাামে কমনওয়েলথ গেমসের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের আগেই ইংল্যান্ডের মাটিতে দেশের ক্রীড়াবিদদের সম্মান জানাতে বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করেছিল ভারতীয় হাইকমিশন। আগামী কাল বৃহস্পতিবার ২৮ জুলাই থেকে বার্মিংহামে শুরু হচ্ছে কমনওয়েলথ গেমস।
