পাতিয়ালাতে অ্যাথলিটদের জাতীয় ক্যাম্পে রয়েছেন হিমা। টোকিও অলিম্পিক্সে কোয়ালিফাই করতে না পারার পরে কিছুদিন বিশ্রাম নিয়েছিলেন তিনি। হ্যামস্ট্রিং চোটের চিকিৎসা করিয়েছিলেন। তারপরেই ফের ট্রেনিং শুরু করার উদ্দেশ্যে জাতীয় ক্যাম্পে ফেরেন।
পাতিয়ালা, ১৩ অক্টোবর: করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হলেন অ্যাথলিট হিমা দাস (Hima Das)। টুইটারে নিজেই এই খবর জানিয়েছেন হিমা। তিনি লেখেন, "আমি সবাইকে জানাতে চাই যে আমার কোভিড রিপোর্ট পজিটিভ এসেছে। আমি স্থিতিশীল এবং এই মুহুর্তে আইসোলেশনে রয়েছি। আমি এই সময়টিকে নিরাময় হতে ও আগের চেয়ে শক্তিশালী হয়ে ফিরে আসার জন্য ব্যবহার করব। সবাই নিরাপদ থাকুন এবং মাস্ক পরুন।"
