এশিয়ান গেমসে পুরুষদের কম্পাউন্ড ইভেন্টের ব্যক্তিগত বিভাগে সোনা জিতেছেন ভারতের ওজাস দেওতালে (Ojas Deotale) এবং ও রুপো জিতেছেন অভিষেক বর্মা (Abhishek Varma)। প্রথম গেমের শেষটা রোমাঞ্চকর ছিল কারণ ভার্মা এবং দেওতালে উভয়ই নিখুঁত ফর্মে ছিলেন, নিখুঁত ১০ স্কোর করেন এবং স্কোর ৩০-৩০-এ সমতা বজায় রাখেন। দ্বিতীয় গেমে প্রথমে স্কোর হয় ৫০-৫০ কিন্তু শেষ মুহূর্তে দেওতালকে ৫৯-৬০ পয়েন্টের লিড নেন। তৃতীয় গেমে দেওতালে ৮৭-৯০ স্কোর নিয়ে এগিয়ে থাকেন এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত দেওতালে ১৪৮-১৭৭ গেমে জয় লাভ করে ভার্মাকে থ্রিলার গেমে পরাজিত করেন। এই দু'টি পদকের ফলে এ বছর এশিয়ান গেমসে ভারতের মোট পদকের সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায় ৯৯। যা কাঙ্ক্ষিত লক্ষ্য থেকে মাত্র এক ধাপ দূরে। Gold & Bronze in Archery: এশিয়ান গেমসে মহিলাদের তিরন্দাজি কম্পাউন্ডে সোনা জ্যোতি সুরেখা ভেন্নামের, ব্রোঞ্জ অদিতি স্বামীর
