স্বাধীনতা দিবস (Independence Day 2022) উদযাপন অনুষ্ঠানে নাগিন ড্যান্স (Nagin Dance), পুলিশ লাইনে ট্রান্সফার করা হল উত্তরপ্রদেশ পুলিশের (Uttar Pradesh Police) একজন সাব ইন্সপেক্টর এবং একজন কনস্টেবলকে। তাঁরা পিলভিটের (Pilbhit) পুরানপুর থানায় কর্মরত ছিলেন। স্বাধীনতা দিবসের অনুষ্ঠানে তাঁদের ইউনিফর্ম পরেই নাগিন ড্যান্স করতে দেখা গিয়েছে। নাচের ভিডিও সোশাল মিডিয়ায় ভাইরাল হয়েছে। দেখা যাচ্ছে, এক পুলিশ কর্মী বাঁশি বাজাচ্ছেন। আরেক পুলিশকর্মী নাগিন ড্যান্স করছেন। ভিডিও ভাইরাল হতেই তাঁদের পুলিশ লাইনে পাঠানো হয়েছে। পিলভিটের পুলিশ সুপার দীনেশ কুমার পি বলেন, "পতাকা উত্তোলনের পর একজন এসআই এবং একজন কনস্টেবল এমন একটি গানে নাচেন, যার প্রয়োজন ছিল না। যদিও তাঁদের কঠোরভাবে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে ও পুলিশ লাইনে পাঠানো হয়েছে। তাঁরা মদ্যপ ছিলেন না। ইউনিফর পরে অনুপযুক্ত কাজ করায় তাঁদের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হয়েছে। আর কোনও পদক্ষেপের প্রয়োজন নেই।"
