ডিএমকে-র (DMK) পতাকা লাগানো দুটি গাড়ি থেকে মহিলাদের পিছু নেওয়া, তাঁদের কটূক্তির অভিযোগ উঠল। চেন্নাইয়ের (Chennai) ইস্ট কোস্ট রোড থেকে এমনই একটি ঘটনার জেরে চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ায়। যখানে পরপর দুটি গাড়ি থেকে মহিলাদের একটি দলের পিছু নেওয়া হয়, তাঁদের কটূক্তির অভিযোগ ওঠে। এমনকী মহিলাদের গাড়ির চারপাশে পাক খেতে দেখা যায় ডিএমকে-র পতাকা লাগানো গাড়ির যুবকদের। সেই সঙ্গে প্রকাশ্য রাস্তায় ওই মহিলাদের হুমকি দেওয়া হয় বলে অভিযোগ। যে ঘটনা প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই পুলিশ পদক্ষেপ করে। সেই সঙ্গে ওই ঘটনার সঙ্গে আর কারা যুক্ত, সে বিষয়েও পুলিশ জোরদার তল্লাশি শুরু করেছে। রাস্তার উপর ছুটে এসে এক যুবককে যেমন মহিলাদের গাড়িতে থাকা সদস্যদের হুমকি দেওয়া হয়, তেমনি রাস্তা আটকেও তারা দাঁড়িয়ে পড়ে। রাতের রাস্তায় এহেন ভিডিয়ো দেখে সমালোচনার ঝড় উঠতে শুরু করেছে।
