Mahatma Gandhi's Death Anniversary: রাজ্যজুড়ে পালিত হচ্ছে গান্ধী-প্রয়াণ দিবস, প্রার্থনা সভায় যোগ রাজ্যপাল সিভি আনন্দ বোসের
সরকারের তরফে আজ বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।
কলকাতাঃ আজ, ৩০ জানুয়ারি, মহাত্মা গান্ধীর(Mahatma Gandhi) প্রয়াণ দিবস(Death Anniversary)। আর আজকের দিনটিকে 'শহিদ দিবস' হিসেবে পালন করছে রাজ্য সরকার(State Government)। সরকারের তরফে আজ বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। এদিন সকালে মেয়ো রোডে গান্ধী মূর্তিতে শ্রদ্ধাজ্ঞাপন করে ব্যারাকপুরের গান্ধী ঘাটে পৌঁছে গিয়েছেন রাজ্যপাল সিভি আনন্দ বোস। গান্ধী ঘাটে আয়োজিত প্রার্থনা সভায় যোগ দেন রাজ্যপাল। তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিলেন জেলাশাসক এবং রাজ্য সভাপতি। এদিন গান্ধী মূর্তিতে মাল্যদানের পর সংবাদমাধ্যমের মুখোমুখি হয়ে তিনি বলেন, "আজকের দিনটা এমন একটা দিন যেদিন গোটা দেশবাসী মহান মহাত্মা গান্ধীকে স্মরণ করে। আজকের দিনটা আবারও মনে করায় আমরা গান্ধীর শিক্ষা নিয়েই বেঁচে আছি।"
