সোমবার উত্তরপ্রদেশের বালিয়া জেলার তমসা নদীতে প্রায় ৪০ জন যাত্রীকেনিয়ে একটি নৌকা তলিয়ে যায়। ইতিমধ্যেই নৌকা ডুবে যাওয়ার ঘটনায় কমপক্ষে চারজন মারা গেছে এবং প্রায় ২৪-২৫ জন যাত্রীর নিখোঁজ হওয়ার আশঙ্কা রয়েছে। নৌকাডুবিতে যারা মারা গেছেন তারা সকলেই মহিলা বলে জানা গেছে। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের অভিযোগ নৌকাটিতে অত্যাধিক যাত্রী নেওয়ার কারণে সেটি ডুবে যায়।
At least four people were dead and about two dozen others feared missing after a boat carrying some 40 persons capsized in the Tamsa River in #UttarPradesh's Ballia district on Monday.
