উত্তরপ্রদেশ বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের (Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022) প্রথম দফায় ভোট দিলেন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী সঞ্জীব বালিয়ান (Sanjeev Balyan)। মুজফফরনগরে একটি ভোট কেন্দ্রে তিনি ভোটদান করেন৷ তিনি বলেন, আগে এই এলাকাকে অপরাধের রাজধানী বলা হত। আজ আইন-শৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতির উন্নতি হয়েছে, উন্নয়ন হয়েছে ও মাফিয়া রাজের অবসান হয়েছে।"
