Saugata Roy: দেশের যুবসমাজকে নষ্ট করা হচ্ছে, অগ্নিপথ প্রকল্প নিয়ে মন্তব্য তৃণমূল সাংসদ সৌগত রায়ের
কার্গিল বিজয় দিবসের দিন বিরোধীদের নিশানা করেছিলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। তাঁর দাবি ছিল, অগ্নিপথের মাধ্যমে বাহিনীকে তরুণ করতেই কেন্দ্র সরকার এই প্রকল্প চালু করেছে।
বিগত কয়েকবছরে অগ্নিপথ প্রকল্প নিয়ে একাধিকবার সমালোচনার মুখে পড়তে হয়েছিল বিজেপি সরকারকে। তবে শুক্রবার কার্গিল বিজয় দিবসের দিন বিরোধীদের নিশানা করেছিলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। তাঁর দাবি ছিল, "অগ্নিপথের (Agnipath Scheme) মাধ্যমে বাহিনীকে তরুণ করতেই কেন্দ্র সরকার এই প্রকল্প চালু করেছে। আর দেশের নিরাপত্তাজনিত বিষয় নিয়েও রাজনীতি করছে দেশের বিরোধী নেতারা। যা অত্যন্ত দুর্ভাগ্যজনক"। যদিও মোদীর এই বক্তব্যের পাল্টা দিলেন তৃণমূল সাংসদ সৌগত রায় (Saugata Roy)। তাঁর মতে, "বিরোধীরা তো অগ্নিপথ প্রকল্পের বিরোধীতা করবেই, কারণ এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে যুবসমাজকে নষ্ট করা হচ্ছে"।
