তামিলনাড়ুতে পুর নির্বাচনের ভোটগ্রহণ (Tamil Nadu Urban Local Body Poll) চলছে। সেখানেও পৌঁছে গেল হিজাব বিতর্ক (Hijab Contro)। মাদুরাইয়ের (Madurai) একটি বুথে হিজাব পরা এক মহিলা ভোটারকে ভোটদানে বাধা দেন বিজেপির বুথ কমিটির সদস্য। মহিলা ভোটারকে হিজাব খুলে ভোট দিতে বলেন তিনি। ডিএমকে, এআইএডিএমকে সদস্যরা তাতে আপত্তি জানালে পুলিশ হস্তক্ষেপ করে। ওই বিজেপি কর্মীকে বুথ থেকে বেরিয়ে যেতে বলা হয়।
