১৮. ১ কেজি তিমি মাছের বমি সহ গ্রেফতার ৪। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে তামিলনাড়ুতে। তুতিকোরিনের সমুদ্র উপকূল থেকে প্রাপ্ত এই মহামূল্যবান জিনিসটিকে পাচারেরর উদ্দেশ্যে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছিল। এর আনুমানিক বাজারমূল্য প্রায় ৩১.৬ কোটি টাকা।
সামুদ্রিক সোনা বলে পরিচিত এই অ্যাম্বারগ্রিস বন্যপ্রাণী আইনে বিক্রি নিষিদ্ধ। সুগন্ধী তৈরিতে দরকার হয় এই জিনিস। এই প্রথম নয় এর আগেও অনেবার এই মহামূল্যবান পদার্থ পাচারের চেষ্টা হয়েছিল। কিন্তু শুল্ক দফতরের সহায়তায় পাচারের আগেই বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়।
