অসময়ের বৃষ্টিতে পরিস্থিতির অবনতি তামিলনাড়ু্তে।আজ সকাল থেকেও বিভিন্ন অংশে মাঝারি থেকে ভারী বৃষ্টির খবর পাওয়া যায়। ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের কারণে ডিন্ডিগুল, নীলগিরির জেলাশাসকরা জরুরি ভিত্তিতে আজ স্কুলগুলিতে ছুটি ঘোষণা করেছেন। তামিলনাড়ুর কোয়েম্বাটুরে গত কয়েকদিনের ভারী বৃষ্টিপাত অব্যাহত থাকায় আজ সকালে কোয়েম্বাটুরের কুঞ্জপ্পা-পানাইয়ের কাছে রাস্তায় একটি ভূমিধসের ঘটনা ঘটে। ধসের কারণে যানচলাচল বন্ধ হয়ে যায় রাস্তায়। দেখুন সেই ছবি-
