জিএসটি থেকে কোভিড কালে অর্থনীতির হাল ধরার মত স্মরণীয় কাজ করা শক্তিকান্ত দাস এবার প্রধানমন্ত্রীর মুখ্য সচিব-২ (Principal Secretary-2) এর দায়িত্ব পালন করবেন।
দীর্ঘ ৬ বছর রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের গর্ভনরের দায়িত্ব সামলানোর পর এবার নয়া ভূমিকায় শক্তিকান্ত দাস (Shaktikanta Das)। ২০১৮ সালের ডিসেম্বরে উর্জিত প্যাটেল আচমকা আরবিআই প্রধানের পদ ছাড়লেন তাঁর জায়গায় রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের ২৫তম গর্ভনরের দায়িত্বে এসেছিলেন শক্তিকান্ত দাস।
১৯৮০ ব্যাচের অবসরপ্রাপ্ত ভারতীয় প্রশাসনিক পরিষেবা (IAS) তামিলনাড়ু ক্যাডারের অফিসার শক্তিকান্ত দাস এবার প্রধানমন্ত্রী সচিবালয়ে।
