পুরানো ব্রিটিশ ২৫ পাউন্ডের কামানের এর বদলে এই প্রথম ১০৫ মিমি ভারতীয় ফিল্ডগান দ্বারা ২১ টি তোপধ্বনি দেওয়া হল।
২৬ জানুয়ারী কর্তব্য পথে প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবসের প্যারেডে দেখা গেল দেশীয় ও আধুনিক অস্ত্রের সেরা ঝলক। পুরানো ব্রিটিশ ২৫ পাউন্ডের কামানের এর বদলে এই প্রথম ১০৫ মিমি ভারতীয় ফিল্ডগান দ্বারা ২১ টি তোপধ্বনি দেওয়া হল। যা প্রতিরক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে ক্রমবর্ধমান ভারতীয় 'স্বনির্ভরতা'কেই প্রতিফলিত করে।
