জয়পুর: নতুন পেনশন স্কিম ( New Pension Scheme) ভালো না পুরনো (Old Pension Scheme)! তা নিয়ে দেশজুড়ে বিতর্ক চলছে। হিমাচলপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পদে বসার পরেই রাজ্যের সরকারি কর্মচারীদের পুরনো পেনশন স্কিমেই টাকা দেওয়া হবে বলে ঘোষণা করেছেন রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সুখবিন্দার সিং সুখু। তা নিয়ে আলোচনা চলছে দেশজুড়ে। এর মাঝেই পুরনো পেনশন স্কিমের সমর্থনে মুখ খুললেন আরেক কংগ্রেস শাসিত রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

সম্প্রতি মন্টেক সিং আলুওয়ালিয়া (Montek Singh Ahluwalia) বলেছিলেন, "পুরনো পেনশন স্কিম একটি অবাস্তব পদক্ষেপ (absurd move) ছিল এবং এর ফলে আর্থিকভাবে দেউলিয়া (financial bankruptcy) হত সরকার।" শনিবার তার জবাবে রাজস্থানের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অশোক গেহলট (Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot) বলেন, "যখন দেশে (country) পুরনো পেনশন স্কিম চালু ছিল তখন কর্মচারীরা অবসর গ্রহণের (retire) পর নিশ্চিন্তে থাকতেন। কিন্তু, এখন যাঁরা কর্মরত রয়েছেন তাঁরা কী এক রকমই নিশ্চিন্ত মনে থাকতে পারবেন?"
