Odisha: ওড়িশার কন্ধমাল জেলায় চিতাবাঘের চামড়া-সহ ধৃত ২ পাচারকারী
ওড়িশার কন্ধমাল জেলায় একটি চিতাবাঘের চামড়া-সহ দুই পাচারকারীকে গ্রেফতার করল পুলিশ। ধৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে বন্যপ্রাণী শিকার ও চোরাপাচারের অভিযোগে মামলা করা হয়েছে।
ওড়িশার (Odisha) কন্ধমাল জেলায় (Kandhamal district) একটি চিতাবাঘের চামড়া (leopard skin)-সহ দুই পাচারকারীকে গ্রেফতার করল পুলিশ। ধৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে বন্যপ্রাণী শিকার ও চোরাপাচারের (wildlife trade) অভিযোগে মামলা করা হয়েছে।
পাশাপাশি বাজেয়াপ্ত হওয়া চিতাবাঘের চামড়া উত্তরাখণ্ডের দেরাদুনে অবস্থিত ওয়াইল্ডলাইফ ইনস্টিটিউট অফ ইন্ডিয়াতে (WildLife Institute of India, Dehradun) পরীক্ষার জন্য পাঠানো হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন ওডিশা পুলিশের (Odisha police) আধিকারিকরা।
#Odisha police have seized a leopard skin in Kandhamal district & arrested 2 persons involved in the wildlife trade & seized leopard skin will be sent to WildLife Institute of India, Dehradun, for biological examination, said officials.
