দীর্ঘ ৯ মাসের বেশি সময় ধরে অপেক্ষার পর অবশেষে পৃথিবীতে পা রাখছেন সুনীতা উইলিয়ামস এবং বুচ উইমোর। সুনীতা উইলিয়ামস যখন স্পেসএক্স-এর ড্রাগন স্পেসক্রাফটে চড়ে পৃথিবীতে ফিরছেন, সেই সময় ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভুদ মহাকাশচারীকে শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi)। গোটা পৃথিবী যখন সুনীতা উইলিয়ামসদের (Sunita Williams) জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে, সেই সময় ভারতীয় কন্যার উদ্দেশে বার্তা দিলেন মোদী। চিঠিতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী জানান, মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পের সময়ে হোক কিংবা প্রাক্তন প্রেডেন্সিট বাইডেনের সময়কাল, তিনি যখনই মার্কিন মুলুকে গিয়েছেন, সুনীতাদের খোঁজ নিয়েছেন। তাঁরা কেমন আছেন, সে বিষয়ে খবর করেছেন। তাঁরা এই মুহূর্তে মহাকাশ থেকে ফিরছেন। শত যোজন দূরে রয়েছেন। তাঁদের যাত্রা যাতে সফল হয়, সে বিষয়েও শুভকামনা জানান ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী। এমনকী সুনীতা উইলিয়ামস পৃথিবীতে নামার পর, তাঁকে ভারতে দেখতে চান। ভারতের মেয়ের জন্য এ দেশের দরজা সব সময় খোলা বলেও জানান প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী।
