Mahatma Gandhi's 74th Death Anniversary: প্রয়াণ দিবসে মহাত্মা গান্ধীকে শ্রদ্ধা জানালেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী
১৯৪৮ সালে আজকের দিনেই দিল্লির বিড়লা হাউসে মহাত্মাকে গুলি করেন নাথুরাম গডসে। ঘটনাস্থলেই প্রাণ হারান মোহনদাস করমচাঁদ গান্ধী। তারপর থেকেই প্রতি বছর এই দিনটি ‘শহিদ দিবস’ হিসেবে পালিত হয়ে আসছে।
আজ মহাত্মা গান্ধীর (Mahatma Gandhi) ৭৪ তম প্রয়াণ দিবসে (Death Anniversary) দেশজুড়ে পালিত হচ্ছে ‘শহিদ দিবস’ (Martyrs' Day 2022)। প্রয়াণ দিবসে মহাত্মা গান্ধীকে শ্রদ্ধা জানালেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narrendra Modi)। টুইটারে তিনি লিখেছেন, "পুণ্যতিথিতে বাপুকে স্মরণ করছি। তাঁর মহৎ আদর্শকে আরও জনপ্রিয় করার জন্য আমাদের সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টা জারি রয়েছে। আজ, শহিদ দিবসে সেই সমস্ত মহানদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করছি, যাঁরা সাহসের সঙ্গে আমাদের দেশকে রক্ষা করেছেন। তাঁদের সেবা ও সাহসিকতা চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে।"
