Omar Abdullah: নিজের গড়ে হার জম্মু-কাশ্মীরের প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ওমর আবদুল্লাহর! বড় জয় পেল নির্দল প্রার্থী
লড়াই কঠিন হলেও জয় পাবো ভেবেছিলাম, কিন্তু এরকম ফলাফল আশা করিনি! নিজের পরাজয়কে কার্যত নিশ্চিত করলেন জম্মু-কাশ্মীর ন্যাশানাল কনফারেন্সের প্রার্থী ওমর আবদুল্লাহ (Omar Abdullah)। বারামুলাতে কার্যত নির্দল প্রার্থী আব্দুল রশিদ শেখের কাছে প্রায় ২ লক্ষের কাছাকাছি ভোটে হারতে হচ্ছে তাঁকে। এই নিয়ে ওমর আবদুল্লাহ তাঁকে অভিনন্দনও জানান। সেই সঙ্গে ওমর বলেন, আমার মনে হয় হার স্বীকার করে নেওয়া উচিত। এখান থেকেই ভবিষ্যতের জন্য শিক্ষা নিতে হবে। উত্তর কাশ্মীরের মানুষ হয়তো আমাকে চায়নি, কিন্তু ভবিষ্যতের কখা ভেবে আমাদের এগিয়ে যেতে হবে। অন্যদিকে তাঁর দলের প্রার্থী কার্গিল ও লেহ-তে জয় পেয়েছে হলে উচ্ছাসা প্রকাশ করেছে।
