কোয়েম্বাটোরে গাড়ি বিস্ফোরনের ঘটনায় তামিনাড়ু সহ বেশ কিছু জায়গায় তল্লাশি শুরু এনআইএর। ২৩ শে অক্টোবর ২০২২ সালে কোয়েম্বাটোরের একটি মন্দিরের সামনে গাড়িতে বিস্ফোরন ঘটে, যার জেরে প্রাণ হারান ২৫ বছরের এক যুবক। মাইলাদুথুরাইতেও চলছে তল্লাশি।
