শনিবার সাত সকালে শ্রীনগরের (Srinagar) ডাল লেকে ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকান্ডের সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। পর্যটকদের অতি পছন্দের ভ্রমণের এক জায়গা এই ডাল লেকে (Dal Lake)। অগ্নিকাণ্ডের জেরে ভস্মীভূত হয়ে গিয়েছে পাঁচটি হাউসবোট। কোটি কোটি টকার সম্পত্তি নিমেষে পুড়ে ছাই হয়ে গিয়েছে। প্রাথমিকভাবে কোন হতাহতের খবর না মিললেও পরে ধ্বংসস্তূপ থেকে ৩টি মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার হয়েছে। জানা যাচ্ছে, ডাল লেকের হাউসবোটে আগুন লেগে ৩ বাংলাদেশী পর্যটকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
