নয়াদিল্লি: আজ অর্থাৎ ৩১ অক্টোবর প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইন্দিরা প্রিয়দর্শিনী গান্ধী ওরফে ইন্দিরা গান্ধীর (Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi) ৪০তম মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী (Death Anniversary)। তাঁর মৃত্যুবার্ষিকীতে বিশেষভাবে স্মরণ করা হয়। ইন্দিরা গান্ধী ১৯১৭ সালে ১৯ নভেম্বর জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। স্বাধীন ভারতের প্রথম প্রধানমন্ত্রী পন্ডিত জওহরলাল নেহেরুর কাছ থেকে তিনি দেশপ্রেম এবং জনসাধারণের সেবার গুরুত্ব শিখেছিলেন।
