প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী বেনারসের দশাশ্বমেধ ঘাটে (Dasaswamedh Ghat) গঙ্গা আরতি করলেন।
বেনারস: প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি আজ উত্তর প্রদেশের বেনারসের লোকসভা আসন থেকে মনোনয়ন জমা দেওয়ার আগে দশশ্বমেধ ঘাটে প্রার্থনা করলেন৷ আজ গঙ্গা সপ্তমী (Ganga Saptami) সেই উপলক্ষে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী বেনারসের দশাশ্বমেধ ঘাটে (Dasaswamedh Ghat) গঙ্গা আরতি করলেন। হিন্দু ধর্মে গঙ্গা নদীকে পবিত্রতম নদী হিসাবে বিবেচনা করা হয়, গঙ্গাকে দেবী হিসাবে পূজা করা হয়। দেবী গঙ্গাকে উৎসর্গ করা গঙ্গা সপ্তমী হিন্দুধর্মে একটি বিশেষ শুভ দিন। পাশাপাশি মনোনয়ন জমা দেওয়ার আগে প্রধানমন্ত্রী কাল ভৈরব মন্দিরে প্রার্থনা করবেন।
