আজ শুক্রবার চেন্নাইয়ের (Chennai) জওহরলাল নেহরু স্টেডিয়ামে 'খেলো ইন্ডিয়া ইয়ুথ গেমস ২০২৩'-এর (Khelo India Youth Games 2023) শুভ উদ্বোধন করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। ক্রীড়াবিদদের হাত থেকে মশাল গ্রহণ করে তা স্থাপন করলেন মোদী। আলো আর আতশবাজিতে ভরে উঠল গোটা অনুষ্ঠান মঞ্চ। আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন তামিলনাড়ুর রাজ্যপাল আর এন রবি (R.N. Ravi), মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এম কে স্ট্যালিন (M.K. Stalin), যুব কল্যাণ ও ক্রীড়া উন্নয়ন মন্ত্রী উদয়নিধি স্ট্যালিন (Udhayanidhi Stalin) সহ আরও ছিলেন কেন্দ্রীয় ক্রীড়া মন্ত্রী অনুরাগ ঠাকুর (Anurag Thakur) ও ক্রীড়া প্রতিমন্ত্রী নিশীথ প্রামাণিক (Nisith Pramanik)।
