'খেলা হবে' দিবসের সূচনা করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। নেতাজি ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়ামে একটি অনুষ্ঠানে আইএফএ-র অধীনে থাকা ক্লাবগুলিকে ফুটবল উপহার দেন তিনি। স্বাস্থ্য ইঙ্গিত প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধনও করেন। স্টেডিয়ামে মঞ্চে তিনি ফুটবল হাতে কিছুক্ষণ সময় কাটান। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বললেন, "খেলা কিছুটা হয়েছে, আরও হবে। সারা দেশজুড়ে হবে।"
