উত্তরপ্রদেশ থেকে অবৈধভাবে বিহারে মদ নিয়ে আসার সময় পুলিশের সঙ্গে গুলির লড়াইয়ে মৃত্যু হল এক মদ ব্যবসায়ীর। সোমবার গভীর রাতে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে বিহারের বেতিয়া জেলায়।
বেতিয়া: উত্তরপ্রদেশ (Uttar Pradesh) থেকে অবৈধভাবে বিহারে মদ (liquor) নিয়ে আসার সময় পুলিশের সঙ্গে গুলির লড়াইয়ে (firing) মৃত্যু হল এক মদ ব্যবসায়ীর (liquor trader)। সোমবার গভীর রাতে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে বিহারের বেতিয়া (Bettiah) জেলায়।
এপ্রসঙ্গে বেতিয়ার পুলিশ সুপার জানান, আমাদের কাছে গোপন সূত্রে খবর আসে উত্তরপ্রদেশ থেকে অবৈধভাবে বিহারে প্রচুর মদ নিয়ে আসা হচ্ছে। সেই খবর অনুযায়ী আমরা সমস্ত গাড়িগুলিতে তল্লাশি চালাচ্ছিলাম। রাত ২ টোর সময় আচমকা একটি গাড়ি থেকে পুলিশকর্মীদের লক্ষ্য করে গুলি ছোঁড়া হয়। পালটা জবাব দেন আমাদের কর্মীরাও। কিছুক্ষণ পরে গুলির লড়াই থেমে গেলে মদ ব্যবসায়ীর মৃতদেহ ও অস্ত্র উদ্ধার করা হয়।
