কেরলে যাত্রী বোঝাই জিপ উলটে পড়ল খাদে। দুর্ঘটনায় প্রাণ গিয়েছে ৯ জনের। শুক্রবার দুপুরে দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে কেরলে ওয়ানাডের (Wayanad) থালাপুঝা এলাকায়। জানা যাচ্ছে, চা বাগানের শ্রমিক নিয়ে যাত্রা করছিল জিপটি। কিন্তু অতিরিক্ত যাত্রী থাকায় খাদে গড়িয়ে পড়ে জিপটি। দুর্ঘটনায় শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন ওয়ানাডের সাংসদ রাহুল গান্ধী (Rahul Gandhi)। নিজের এক্স হ্যান্ডেল থেকে শোকাহত রাহুল লিখেছেন, 'ওয়েনাডের জিপ দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত চা বাগানের শ্রমিকদের জন্যে আমি গভিরভাবে দুঃখিত। জেলা কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে কথা হয়েছে দ্রুত সাহায্যের আবেদন জানিয়েছি। দুর্ঘটনায় শিকার হওয়া সকলের পরিবারের প্রতি আমার সমবেদনা রইল। আহতদের দ্রুত সুস্থতার কামনা করি'।
